Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Aiming at computational estimation of participants' affective states in spontaneous dialogues, this paper analyzes the statistical relationships between affective states and speech features, such as F0 frequency, speech intensity, and speech speed. The results from statistical analyses applied to human-annotated speech data show that certain affective states, especially emotional states, are expressed and conveyed by particular speech features. The results further suggest that there exist possible gender differences in ways representing affective states.
