Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper studies application to particle swarm optimization(PSO) design of switching inverters of pulse width modulation(PWM). In the algorithm, the particles correspond to switching angles of the inverters and move to optimize two-ojective function: the total harmonic distortion(THD) and the total power. Performing basic numerical experiments, we have confirmed that the proposed method can find efficient switching angles that realize efficient operation.
