Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a system for supporting the distributed object learning with Ruby programming. Learners can learn how to code the program with interest because the support system consists of a networked combat game which includes 8 virtual submarines individually controlled by different participants. The system has two modes. In the first mode, learners understand how to play the game and enjoy playing it. In the second mode, learners make up each submarine object with override under the off-line debug system and participate in the game. As the debug system simulates the motion of their submarine and shows the motion on a display, learners can easily make up their own submarine.
