Abstract(in English) Configuration of virtual networks in mobile transport networks increases the operational costs because network operators need to deploy maximally several tens of thousands of base stations in short term. To reduce the operational costs, it is required to shorten the time for the virtual network configuration necessary for every base station. We propose the operations and management system called PbbVpnManager that generates the configuration commands based on the connection information about adjacent switches and the information about allocated virtual network identifiers. The result of the experiment was that the PbbVpnManager shortened the configuration time required for creating a new virtual network from 30 minutes to 30 seconds by 98.4%. This result shows that the proposed system is helpful in reducing the load of operations and management in mobile transport networks.
