Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the wireless sensor networks, wireless sensor nodes are placed at the observation area. Because wireless sensor nodes have limited power supply, it is important to save power consumption on sensor nodes for prolonging the network lifetime. In our previous work, we proposed HGAF (Hierarchical Geographic Adaptive Fidelity), a power saving technique using positions of nodes in sensor networks. It introduces layered structure into GAF (Geographic Adaptive Fidelity). We implemented HGAF on MICAz-Motes. In this paper, we explain about details of our HGAF implementation and summary of our demonstration.
