Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a head tracking interface system for CAVE-like display systems using the WiiRemote controller. This system is the first step development of our plan on the user-friendly interface for CAVE systems using the WiiRemote. The system uses the infrared camera in the WiiRemote and two infrared LEDs placed on the 3D glasses weared by a user to calculate the three dimensional position of the user. The system can track the location of the user's head and render view dependent images on the CAVE screens.
