Abstract(in English) In this report, a new filter for removal of the noise, which is a mixture of Gaussian and impulsive noises, in color images is described. In general, RGB components of the natural color image heavily and mutually correlate. Then, it can be said that the vector processing is suitable for the noise filtering of the color image rather than to process each channel independently. In the proposed method, the tentative output is obtained by using the iterative robust switching vector median-based vector ε-filter, then the final output is obtained by using the tentative output and the correlation information among RGB components. The effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by some experiments.
