A Copy Control Method for Documents with Frames by Using Data Embedding

Abstract(in English) Recently the leak of the secret information has become a serious problem and paper mediums have been frequently used as a way of leaking. This paper proposes a new copy control method for preventing the illegal copy by the copying machine. In the proposed technique, an ID number by which we manage a document is embedded to the printed document. The information management server is connected to the copying machine, since the system can be applied to the wide application. The server is used for database and data extraction. We consider two cases, where one is data embedding before filling in the form and another data embedding after filling in the form. The former is correspond to the data embedding to the document which user has already filled in and the latter the data embedding to the document which has not been filled in. Several experimental results show that the proposed system can work well as the copy control management system.
