Abstract(in English) Back projection for lost pixel (BPLP) is a method, which generates the eigenspace reflecting characteristics of an input image and restores missing pixels of the image by using it. In this report, a new image enlargement method is proposed by applying BPLP to the predefined codebook-based one. In the proposed method, the eigenspace is generated by using the predefined codebook consisting of a set of low-high frequency component pairs. Then the image enlargement, which estimates high frequency components fast and preserve the sharpness, is accomplished by BPLP. Through the experiments, the effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated.
