Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since environmental issues including climate change have been receiving much attention as one of the global issues, several works are progressing regarding with monitoring and visualization services of electric power consumption in home. It is, however, unclear how much these services are effective or how much these services agree with user requirements. Therefore we carried out experiments of home power monitoring service in four real homes, in which power consumption of consumer appliances were measured and visualized for residents. Through these experiments, reduced power amount was measured and user feedback was collected by means of questionnaires. This paper reports effectiveness of the monitoring and visualization service as well as expectation of actual users for the services.
