Abstract(in English) Integration of face tracking and face recognition was proposed by Takemura, Hisatsune and Shakunaga [3] in the framework of sparse eigentemplate tracker, where the eigentemplate is commonly utilized for tracking and for recognition. This paper improves the efficiency of the system by a couple of refinements in both the tracking and recognition modules. Experimental results are also reported in this paper.
