| 抄録(和) | 実験手法を用いた乳幼児期におけるコミュニケーション発達研究を紹介しながら、その視野と展望について述べる。具体例として、我々のおこなってきた研究から3件を取り上げたい。1件目は、対話場面における相づち生成の発達的変化を、3歳児・5歳児・成人間で比較した。2件目は、1歳前半の乳児を対象に、実験的に設定した「コミュニケーション意図が完遂されない状況」において、対象児の行動調整を検討した。3件目は、他者間のコミュニケーション場面における行為系列の適切性を、第三者的に観察した乳児が検出可能か視線分析に基づいて検討した。以上のような研究領域は、コミュニケーションという具体的な現象の解明と同時に、他者の意図性や「心」の状態認知といった心理的基礎過程を解明する有力な手がかりとしても注目される。 |
| 抄録(英) | My talk here focuses on the recent findings through experimental studies of development of communicative abilities in infancy. As specific examples, I introduce 3 topics: the first one is about the development of the production of back-channels or nodding in face-to-face interaction between an adult and 3- or 5-year-old children. Second one is about the modification of communicative behavior in 1-year-old children, especially when their attempt to communicate with their own caretaker was not completed. And the third one is about whether 1-year-old infants have an ability to detect (as a third person) the natural/unnatural sequences of interaction between others, which was assessed through eye-tracking technique. This field of research should be important not only as descriptions of particular phenomena of communication in infancy but also as a way to approach psychological foundations of communication, such as human perception of intentionality or mental states of others. |
