Analysis of Eye Direction on an Electric Wheelchair Driving in Simulated Traffic Environment : Toward Evaluation of the Driver's Eye Movement Model for Risk-Estimation

Abstract(in English) In the study, the generated eye movement of an eye movement model by a car driver was compared with that of actual human to evaluate its validity. But the eye movement data of human that the person is really feeling hazard in real scene is difficult to acquire. So, in this study, we prepared a pseudo hazardous driving scene using an electric wheelchair to observe the human eye movement, and analyzed a tendency of the human behavior. By the analysis, we observed the eye movement that is consistent with the prediction of the computational model in most of situations. But we also felt necessity of additional analysis on the ratio of eye movement pattern and their sequence.
