Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) One of the most important problems in gesture interface is to keep good performance against condition or environment changes. This paper introduces a novel framework that improves the performance by effectively using interactions between a system and the user. This framework employs indication of recognition status and possible methods for improving performance. This shows the user the necessity to change his/her movements or to modify the parameters for making the gesture recognition easier, and the user may cooperatively behave if conditions permit. This paper introduces the idea and a prototype system.
