Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For supporting exhibitions in museums, we need a display system that can show various additional information about exhibited objects naturally. As one of solutions, we think view-dependent displays, which can show different images according to the viewing directions, are suitable for this purpose. So far, we have developed some types of view-dependent tabletop displays. However, there were some limitations of system sizes and shapes since we adopted a rear-projection approach. This time, we propose a novel view-dependent display using just single overhead projector. In this paper, we describe the system design and the application of this system for supporting exhibitions in museums.
