Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | It is not easy to estimate the position of the users in indoor environments from the view points of facility costs and usability of the positioning device. We developed a positioning system that uses "Image Map" consisting of omnidirectional panoramic images. Robust image matching using PCA-SIFT and fast nearest neighbor search algorithm based on Locality Sensitive Hashing (LSH) enables us to estimate user's position with high accuracy and in a short time. We conducted experiments at the railway museum and confirmed its effectiveness. |
