Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report investigates the influences of a switching scheme for inter-destination (or group) synchronization control on QoE (Quality of Experience) in multipoint communications with voice and video. The scheme switches inter-destination synchronization control among three states dynamically according to work contents. In one state, inter-destination synchronization control is not exerted. In another state, the conventional inter-destination synchronization control is performed. In the other state, the inter-destination synchronization control considering difference of conversation roles is carried out. The scheme can also switch conversation roles. By QoE assessment, we clarify how to determine parameter values so that the three states can be switched in a short time without a large deterioration.
