Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We studied effect of user's cognitive state on grasping behavior for recognizing user's feelings. The grasping of a cup filled with water under relaxed and stressed conditions are collected by the dataglove and position sensors. Based on the physical grasping model, grasping system, synergy system, and grasp-synergy system were estimated by linear regression and Independent Component Analysis, then these powers were compared. Experimental results show that both methods only using the power of synergy and grasp have better discriminative performance, as compared to the method using the movement of the object.
