| 抄録(和) | 連体節を連用節/シテ節へ換言可能であるならば、その連用節が表す範疇的意味は、時点、時間的継起、原因・理由、付属状態、相反に分類できる。この意味分類を基礎に、連体節の意味に応じた英語表現を生成する方向を明確にした。連体節を英語関係節に変換するのではなく、従属接続詞、分詞構文などの文型に翻訳し、さらにその際、連体節と主節とが表す情報の比重によって英文型における主節従節を適切に配列する。この翻訳方式によって簡潔な適訳が得られる。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper proposes the solution for aporia in machine translation from Japanese adnominal clause to English, and provides the semantic classification of the adnominal and semantic categories: time, succession, causality, reason, situation, and contrariety. Provided that the adnominal can be paraphrased in the continuous clause(adverbial), the machine translation will be able to adopt subordinate conjunction or participial construction in English instead of relative clauses, based on the semantic classification of the adnominal clauses. The translated English sentence structure is according to the translation patterns based on information ratio between the matrix clause and the adnominal. |
