Computer Simulation of 2-Dimensional Photonic Crystal Waveguide by Fast Multipole Method

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we perform computer simulation of 2-dimensional optical circuits composed of photonic crystal waveguide and slab waveguides, where the slab waveguides are input/output ports. The analysis method is the method of moment based on guided-mode extracted integral equations which we had proposed. The fast multipole method is employed, in order to reduce computational time. We show some numerical results of the optical cirtcuits composed of slab waveguides, and photonic crystal waveguide and slab waveguides.
