| 抄録(和) | 本論文では、角柱を2次元周期的に配列して構成されたフォトニック結晶に直線状の欠陥を設けて作られた、フォトニック結晶導波路中を伝搬する2次元固有モード電磁界を、Fourier級数展開法によって解析する方法について考える。Fourier級数展開法は、伝搬方向に垂直な方向に仮想周期を導入して電磁界をFourier級数展開によって表し、伝搬によるFourier係数変化を計算するもので、固有モードは伝搬方向の周期セルに対する伝達行列の固有値解析によって求められる。フォトニック結晶を構成する角柱配列層数があまり多くない際には、漏洩波が無視できず、導入した仮想周期境界付近に吸収層を装荷する方法が考えられている。この吸収層としてPerfectly Matched Layerを用いる場合について、検討する。 |
| 抄録(英) | The present paper consideres the Fourier series expansion method applying to the eigenmode analysis of two-dimensional electromagnetic fields propagation in a photonic crystal waveguide, which is formed by a straight line defect of rectangular cylinders array in rectangular lattice. The Fourier series expansion method introduces a periodic boundary condition in the transverse direction, and the fields are expressed in the Fourier series expansions. The eigenmodes are obtained by the eigenvalue analysis of the transfer matrix for one periodicity cell of the waveguide structure. The waveguide with finite photonic crystal walls does not perfectly confine the propagting fields and causes the radiation loss. The present formulation introduces the perfectly matched layers to absorbe the radiation. |
