Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Tin plated surface used for contact surface such as connectors is usually covered with the oxide film in the atmosphere. As the surface covered with the film, surface corrosion is prevented from gas in atmosphere, the surface has corrosion resistance characteristic. However, the oxide film is interposed between contact interfaces, contact resistance increase extremely in low contact load. Therefore, the problem of contact reliability is existed. In previous study, the growth law of tin oxide film was already clarified. That is, the oxide film thickness is saturated about 10nm at room temperature. At elevated temperature (80-120℃), the growth law indicated same tendency as at low temperature. In this study, growth law at the temperature of 150℃ was studied, and it was found that the growth law was different from that of low temperatures. The cause is found in change of optical constants of the surface. This should be dependence of formation of the film. The film formation is amorphous SnO at temperature between room temperature to 80℃. However at 120℃, the formation changed crystallized SnO_2. Moreover, for 150℃, the crystallization is much more remarkable.
