| 抄録(和) | 2色覚者のカテゴリカル色知覚に対する背景刺激の影響を調べるため,開口色モードと表面色モードにおける2色覚者の色名応答実験を行った.その結果,従来の知見と同様に表面色モードでは2色覚者も比較的安定して3色覚者と類似した色名応答特性を示したが,開口色モードでは表面色モードよりも色名応答が不安定となった.この結果は背景情報が2色覚者のカテゴリカル色知覚を安定させる働きを持つことを示唆している.ただし,開口色モードの結果においても2色覚者はある程度3色覚的な色名応答特性を示し,さらに2種類の錐体の応答だけではその色名応答特性は説明できなかった.このことから,2色覚者の色名応答には,2錐体以外から得た色情報も寄与すると考えられる. |
| 抄録(英) | We investigated effects of background stimuli on categorical color perception of dichromats (protanopes and deuteranopes) using categorical color naming experiments under the aperture and surface color appearance modes. In the results, the dichromats showed relatively robust color naming similarly to trichromats in the surface color mode as shown in previous research, while in the aperture mode color naming of the dichromats was less stable. These results suggest that background stimuli have a role in making categorical color perception of dichromats more stable. However, the dichromats showed trichromatic color naming properties even in the aperture color modes and the properties cannot be explained only by responses of two classes of cones, suggesting that some color information other than that from responses of dichromats' residual cones also support their color naming ability. |
