Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In late years, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is promising in next generation mobile communication systems. Relaying system that utilizes relay nodes that relaying signal from source node also attracts much attention. A technique called pairing in OFDM-relay system attracts attention recently, which sorts OFDM subcarrier frequency in a relay terminal, and it can achieve higher BER performance by exploiting frequency-selective fading channel. However, Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) was not considered. Therefore we suggest the subcarrier pairing method in consideration of PAPR. By computer simulation, a proposed method is can reduce PAPR while keeping BER with a conventional pairing method.
