Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are currently working on a distributed spectrum sensing system which achieves large-scale and high-density measurement of radio spectrum utilization and publication of the visualized measurement data. In our system, we install thousands of sensor nodes and collect measurement data through Internet. Each sensor node consists of a radio receiver such as a spectrum analyzer and a controller such as a laptop. In order to collect radio information from as many sensor nodes as possible, the system architecture should provide hardware selectivity so that wide range of sensor nodes from low-end one to high-end one can be achieved. This paper describes the distributed spectrum sensing system that provides 3-layer architecture: Web Interface, Radio Information Manager, and Radio Device Driver. This architecture enables to flexibly implement a sensor nodes using various radio receivers and computational resources.
