Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Because Single Side-band (SSB) Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) modulation has strong inter symbol interference(ISI), some techniques to eliminate that ISI is necessary. For example Turbo-Coding could be used to remove the interference. Conventional approach is to not allocate symbols at interfered slots. In such a way, the SSB Modulation's channel efficiency will be degraded. This paper proposes new SSB QPSK Modulation scheme which is approaching to 4bits/Hz spectral efficiency while keeping reasonable bit error rate by employing joint detection technique. Computer simulation shows that this method could get reasonable Bit Error Rate(BER) when the joint detection taps length is long enough.
