Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) OFDM has a problem of high peak to average power ratio (PAPR) whereas it is tolerant to the frequency selective fading. As a countermeasure for the high PAPR problem, partial transmit sequence (PTS) giving different phase rotation to segmented blocks has been proposed. However, PTS requires side information on the phase rotation. Previously, we proposed a simple blind detection based on the M-algorithm with very low complexity. The blind detection performance is highly affected by phase rotation candidates. In this paper, we propose the search technique of the proper phase rotation for blind detection. Also, we examine the impact of channel estimation error and signal distortion on the blind detection performance.
