Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In Heterogeneous Network (HetNet) where low power nodes (Pico eNodeBs) are placed into a macro-cell system, Serving cell selection scheme is very important issue because it influences the PeNB deployment gain and interference situation. In this paper, we evaluate conventional serving cell selection schemes such as Received Power based and Path Loss based serving cell selection in LTE system. In addition, as point of load balancing improvement, we proposed the Hotzone First serving cell selection scheme, and evaluate its performance and show remaining issues by using system level simulation
