Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a transmit power control using cooperative game theory in which each BS controls its user's transmit power considering the interference for adjacent cells in uplink multi-cell MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) systems. In our proposed scheme, each BS selects one user who could be the largest interference for the BS from adjacent cell users. Then, the BS whose user is selected in the previous step controls its user's transmit power so that his transmit power is less than the power required for him to achieve his target SINR (Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio). One BS makes its user's transmit power less than the target power and also enforces adjacent cell BSs to control their users' transmit powers in the same way. Thus, each user's transmit power could be reduced as well as his received SINR could be maintained. Simulation results show that our proposed scheme can reduce the amount of transmit power and achieve received SINR performance nearly equal to that of the conventional scheme.
