Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) By combining bi-direction and cooperative communication technologies, we propose a novel bi-directional cooperative communication scheme to achieve high transmission performance for half-duplex resource-limited two-way wireless networks. We provide various detailed physical realizations of the proposed scheme taking into account various modulation, detection and diversity branch combining methods. Computer simulation confirmed that, for cooperative relaying system with one relay terminal, compared with the conventional scheme, the proposed schemes can achieve the same BER performance, but 25% higher transmission efficiency. For cooperative relaying system with two relay terminals, compared with the STBC based conventional scheme, the proposed scheme resolves many technical problems of the conventional scheme, achieves the same or even better BER performance and much higher transmission throughput.
