Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For decreasing dead spot in macrocell system, many attentions have been paid to amplify-and-forward (AF) relay transmission in which received signal is amplified and retransmitted. However, since there is delay time due to amplification and retransmission in AF relaying, the relaying delay possibly degrades system performance. In this paper, when MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) AF relay nodes are placed within macrocell in LTE/LTE-Advanced and they relay transmitted signal from macrocell base station to UE (User Equipment), the impact of relaying delay on MIMO AF relay transmission is evaluated by system level simulation.
