Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For decreasing dead spot in macrocell system, many attentions have been paid to amplify-and-forward (AF) relay transmission in which received signal at AF relay node is amplified and retransmitted. In this paper, when MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) AF relay nodes are placed within macrocell system in LTE/LTE-Advanced and they relay transmitted signal from macrocell base station to indoor terminals, the performance improvement by MIMO AF relay transmission is evaluated by system level simulation.
