Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a programmable environment for the development of base-station (uplink) signal processing functions in LTE-Advanced. A library of physical layer functions make it easier to implement the system for a variety of low-volume applications. Uplink signal processing modules are organized as a set of real-time, thread-safe functions ready for integration into complete physical layer processes. The hardware platform is based on Intel Xeon processors and can handle real-time processing requirements of several 20 MHz channels with low latency.
