Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a distributed control-based radio resource management technique for densely terminal-allocated spaces. The proposed scheme employs a selfish-dynamic spectrum control (selfish-DSC) in which each link dynamically chooses spectrum with higher channel gain regardless of interference conditions. Although the selfish DSC is effective in enhancement of interference robustness in moderate interference conditions, the effect gets lower when interference gets severer. To solve this problem, this paper also introduce frequency band segmentation in which a system band is equally segmented to a certain number of blocks and one of the segments is allocated to each terminal according to their location as their primary segment. Moreover, statistical access right for non-primary segment is assigned to each terminal so that the terminal may use such a segment when primary segment is congested. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed scheme is effective in increasing the number of connectable communication links even when terminals are densely located in a space.
