Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Researches and developments of a future network that will emerge beyond NGN and B3G have already started. The key of the researches worldwide is to adopt a clean-slate approach in designing the future network from a mobile and wireless perspective, creating a clean, new network detached from legacy concept and technologies including Internet protocol. A new generation access network is expected to transport various kinds of dynamically changing information about a locality and/or persons from sensors to different destination servers in a secure manner in order to provide personalized context-aware services. A platform network for accommodating sensors and actuators called NerveNet is a network cooperating with mobile terminals and sensors/actuators. It features secure information transport by establishing a secure communication path between sensors and a server via a mobile terminal.
