Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper evaluates spectrum property of DFTS-OFDM transmission with non-linear distortion of a transmission power amplifier by computer simulations. N-times DFTS-OFDM transmission, which uses plural DFTs, and Clustered DFTS-OFDM transmission, in which DFT output signals are divided into plural clusters, are used in the simulations. The simulation results show that the PAPR of N-times DFTS-OFDM transmission with four DFTs increases by 2.0dB at the maximum compared with that with one DFT. In Clustered DFTS-OFDM transmission with four clusters, the maximum PAPR increase is 1.4dB. Although the out-of-band distortion power ratio with the input back-off value of 4dB is -30dB in both transmission systems, the devised sub-carrier mapping can reduce the occupied bandwidth of the distortion power. Clustered DFTS-OFDM transmission can especially reduce in-band distortion power by 4.5dB compared with N-times DFTS-OFDM transmission.
