Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When the MIMO spatial multiplexed signals are decoded, conventional successive detector requires the same number of antennas at the receiver as that at the transmitter. In addition, the number of antennas that can be installed in the mobile terminals is limited. For these reason, in the down-link for mobile communication, it has been difficult to increase transmission capasity by spatial multiplexing. Therefore, the architecture has been proposed which can decode transmitted signals when the number of antennas at the transmitter ecxeeds that of at the receiver. This receiver can double the number of antennas at the receiver virtually. In this manuscript, we propose a soft input iteration scheme for improvement of this architecture. The performance of the proposed architecture is verified using computer simulations.
