Abstract(in English)	This paper introduces research and development activities regarding to the reliability improvement by use of multiple wireless systems, especially conducted by the authors. The collaborative use of multiple wireless systems is deeply concerned with the cognitive radio technology, and called the heterogeneous radio. Though the main purpose of the cognitive radio is an efficient radio frequency reuse, this paper focuses on the improvement of the communication reliability. It also states the relation between the communication reliability and the efficiency of the frequency usage. An overview and the aim of authors' activities are introduced here, followed by the current status and further studies.
