Abstract(in English) This paper investigats the flexible frequency resource allocation for each user in the uplink multi-user multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) scheme using clustered discrete Fourier transform spread orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DFT-S-OFDM). Generally, in the uplink MU-MIMO scheme, spatially-multiplexed users' signals are transmitted with the uneqal bandwidth and frequency resource blocks (RBs). In this case, each user's allocation is restricted due to the other spatially-multiplexed users' RB allocation. Therefore, in this paper, we show the advantage of flexible resource allocation regardless of spatially-multiplexed users' resource allocation. Moreover, as examples of RB selection criterion, we use two allocation methods when linear minimum mean square (LMMSE) receiver and turbo equalizer are applied. Computer simulation confirms that the flexible resorce allocation has good performance. Moreover, in turbo equalizer case, selection criterion can be easy because user allocation is decided due to each user's channel condition only.
