Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Clustered DFT-S-OFDM (Discrete Fourier Transform Spread Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing), which is introduced for LTE-A, can considerably improve the utilization ratio of system band since it can achieve more flexible scheduling than SC-FDMA (Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access). Moreover, the introduction of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technique is also discussed in LTE-A, and closed-loop MIMO based codebook can improve the throughput of low mobility users. It is reasonable for SC-FDMA to apply wideband precoder, which assigned bandwidth in order to preserve PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio). However, for clustered DFT-S-OFDM, the throughput performance would not be optimized because wideband precoder is not always optimal for non-contiguous allocation. In this paper, we evaluate the transmission performance of cluster-wise precoding scheme for clustered DFT-S-OFDM.
