Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We studied on the effect of error correction with Turbo codes in OFDM-QPSK by computer simulation. The effect might depend on the number of bit in every block coded in Turbo codes and the environment in the operating system, such as maximum Doppler frequency fm and delay spread a. So, the effect was simulated under the conditions of the number of bits N and M in time and frequency axes, and constant values of f_mT_s and f_0σ. Although it showed the effect strongly depended on the number of N×M, it was mostly independent of the ratio of M/N around 0.5~2.0. Next, the influence of the environment was studied. Under a fixed number of bits in N×M=10^4 and parameters of f_mT_s and f_0σ, E_b/N_0 at error free point in f_mT_s(f_0σ)=4×10^<-3> was 20dB smaller than that of f_mT_s(f_0σ)=10^<-4>. Furthermore, the effect of error correction with diversity was studied. It showed that the effect was larger, especially when the values of f_mT_s and f_0σ was smaller, even if N×M is larger.
