Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The basis of the information theoretic security of the symmetric ky cipher is based on the Shannon theory published in 1949. The security against the ciphertext only attack on data has the Shannon limit:H(X|Y)≦H(K), and one needs one time pad to realize the perfect secrecy. From the research for breaking the limit, so called Y-00 protocol has been proposed, which has a potential to break it. Since all parameter of Y-00 is the finite, still the complete analysis has difficulty. On the other hand, a new scheme so called CPPM(coherent pulse position modulation) that allow the asymptotic analysis for some parameters has been also proposed. It is easy to understand by CPPM how the Shannon limit is broken. In this paper, we clarify the concrete feature of CPPM comparing with Y-00.
