Analysis of optical wireless multi-level PPM using IM/DD

Abstract(in English) In this paper, to increase data transmission rate of a optical wireless commnication using IM/DD, multi-pulse pulse position moulation (multi-pulse PPM) wth modified pseudo orthogonla M-sequence sets is considered. Moreover, the bit error rate performance of a system is analyzed by taking into account the scintillaton, backgrond-noise, avalanche photo-diode (APD) noise, theral noise, and signal dependence noise in the single-user case.
