Abstract(in English) Recent years, increasing weight and deployment cost of complicated wire harness is revealing especially in a luxury car. Therefore, it is expected that in-car network is built by wireless communication having an excellent environment-compatibility, as well as wired network. In this report, we investigate the applicability of MB-OFDM UWB to in-car wireless communication from the viewpoint of the coverage area and then describe the practical problems to be solved for in-car UWB wireless communication.
