Abstract(in English) We showed the advantage of the OXC network that had the Colorless function and the Directionless function by the increase and decrease of an optical path and the restoration. The configurations of large-scale OXC (AWG + Matrix Optical SW type and WSS + AWG + Matrix Optical SW type) were compared by the OSNR of the Transmission signal, and, we showed the advantage of OXC that used 3D-MEMS optical SW and WSS. We successfully transmit a 43-Gb/s WDM signal over 300km through a triple cascade of simple Colorless and Directionless large-scale OXCs composed of a 3D-MEMS optical switch and WSSs.
