Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the function of mobile handset is required for many application. So the built-in wide band antennas of mobile handsets are required for Area reduction and Low profile. In the previous paper, the U-shaped folded dipole antenna has been introduced and its characteristics have been analyzed, which has a wider bandwidth. In this paper, more compact balanced-fed folded dipole antenna (CBFDA) is proposed and its characteristics are analyzed. As a result, it is found that this antenna has almost the same characteristics of previous antenna. Moreover, it is investigated for Low profile of CBFDA and the influence of the conductor block near the antenna.
