Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) High refractive index and transparent polymer materials are of great importance for various kinds of photonic device applications. Organic polymers containing inorganic nanoparticles are promising candidate to realize such characteristics. We have achieved high index over 1.8 and transparent hybrid polymer materials. Optical waveguide was fabricated by simple softlithography process, and multi-layered antireflection film and thin film mirror were fabricated using high index hybrid polymers by simple spin-coating process.
