Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have invented slab optical waveguide (SOWG) spectroscopy with which in situ observation of UV vis. absorption spectra from adsorbed molecules on solid/liquid interfaces can be performed. In this presentation we will show you the bioactivity of hemoglobin and cytochrome c was reserved on quartz surfaces and ITO electrodes after adsorption on solid/liquid interfaces. Additionally the adsorption process of these proteins on solid/liquid interfaces were observed with in situ absorption spectral change by SOWG spectroscopy.
