Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we have studied the origin of polarity in organic field-effect transistors and, based on this knowledge, fabricated ambipolar transistors using organic single crystals. Importantly, we have realized co-existence of high current density and high efficient light emission using single crystal ambipoalr transisotrs, which are necessary for lasing. Moreover, we have clarified opt-electronic properties of our devices and investigated the possible realization of organic laser transistors.
