Abstract(in English) The Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS) is expected to increase capacity and safety in relation to specific weather conditions, traffic density and aerodrome layout by making use of modern technologies and a high level of integration of four functions (Surveillance, Routing, Guidance and Control). Electronic Navigation Research Institute (ENRI) started five-year R&D project in 2004 to prepare deployments of A-SMGCS in near future. In the project, ENRI developed prototype A-SMGC systems and conducted evaluation test of the systems. In this paper, we explain our prototype A-SMGC systems and show results of evaluation of the systems.
